What do I do?

During your visit at the Jheronimus Bosch Art Center you will be introduced to Jheronimus Bosch and the time in which he lived. After this introduction an elevator will take you to the top floor of the 40 meters high tower. There you can enjoy a magnificent view of the city of ‘s-Hertogenbosch. The four underlying gallery rooms provide an overview of the complete works of Jheronimus Bosch, the overview in the Art Center consist of high-quality photographic reproductions. The reproductions are all in original size and have authentic handcrafted frames. You can open and the close the triptychs yourself.

Throughout the exhibition rooms there also is a collection of unique tapestries with details of Bosch’s work. Furthermore, you can also find contemporary art, 3D figures made after details of the work of Bosch. In the basement is a reconstruction of the workshop of Jheronimus Bosch. To further deepen your visit it is also possible to view the reproductions of all the drawings and sketches from Bosch.

The late medieval ‘s-Hertogenbosch will be shown through a collection of archaeological objects from the collection of the city’s archaeological service BAM.
